life goes on

Well i arrived back in Nelson yesterday after a train ride to Wellington and staying a night there the catching the ferry over the next day. Its great to be home to see everyone.
I am going back to work part time at the salon for 2 days a week next week and hopefully working part time at the bar for a few hours.

I came back to my car that needs a warrant then rego then failed its warrant grrrrrr!!

And i came back to have a check up today all is good on that front so i will be having my next check in 3 months time so yay!!!! that made my day a bit better after the car drama.

But i also came home to some sad news there is a beautiful lady inside and out that i did chemo with we had both had a similar surgery and treatment plan although she had to have more treatment than me. But i arrived home to hear from her that her cancer has come back and it doesn't look good.
and i just wanted to cry for her and for everyone who knows her. Such a strong beautiful caring woman.
To have to start chemo all over again. but even as she was telling me this news she was so positive and strong.  And i just look up to her and think she is amazing. And i will be there for her for whatever she needs.
And my special friend i want you to know that you are always in mine and my mums thoughts and we are so happy to have gotten to know you. and hope to spend many more years sharing good times.

last few weeks in my north island holiday

well i did it i walked under and over the Auckland harbour bridge was really cool and well worth doing you got to learn a lot about the bridge and it's history.
like it took 400 people to build the bridge 3 people lost their lives 2 fell into the water and survived the fall but before anyone could get to them they drowned. The 3rd person fell while they were poring concrete and it was to late when they realised so he is forever resting in the bridge. ( possibly the worlds biggest tomb stone)
I was a bit sceared at first it happened to be a wet and windy day and seemed to get worse as the day went on. walking up the wind was against you walking down it was pushing you but it was awesome. we got to see someone bunji of the bridge i think i would like to do that next time!!! over 400 stairs i managed to do this walk quite easy and i wasn't even sore the next day.

me and my sister on a night out in town with my brother and his partner was a good chilled night out

I got to go watch my brother race a Lotus ( it was given to him from his nelson family for his birthday) it was really cool to spend the day with him.

my brother anton me Aroha my dad and my sister Danielle after a big night out on the town. with Teppinyaki for dinner and Sakki. i can say everyone was felling in the next day but was a great night of dinner and pool and good times

the last day of my North island holiday with a very big hangover. We went on a cool boat cruse around the Auckland harbour. then went out for lunch then went to western springs speed way.

I had an awesome holiday i was happy and sad to be leaving i will miss everyone up there and miss having daily hugs with my Juno and Mila.
I was also sad to be leaving cause i knew all my appointments and work and everything would start up again so now on the the next part of my journey.

a busy time

Went to the zoo with Mila and Juno was cool they have added on a few new things. The only thing was that we went in the holidays so it was really busy but we had heaps of fun.

Anton, Danielle, Nick and myself went to rainbows end the pic above is a new ride the invader this was all of our fav ride. was a good day but after walking around for hours  i got quite sleepy. i didnt go on all the rides this time as i thought i might get chucked around to much but i went on most of them.

We went and spent the day at the beach was cool i haven't been here for years. we climed up the clift which had lots of nasty stairs :( but i made it to the top yay.

As well as this i have caught up with a few mates. i really like when you havnt seen some 1 for ages and its still comfortable when you do catch up.

Since i have been up here i have seen Footloose, Abduction, sharks 3d, and another 1 i cant think of. hopefully going to go see paranormal 3 this week.

I have nearly been away for 5 weeks its been a long time but it doesnt really feel like it has been that long. i am feeling great i have my down moments but they dont last for long. I am really enjoying being up here with everyone.

Mila's 4th birthday and fan zone Nz Vs Argintena

some of the fam hanging out for Mila's 4th Birthday

Juno

Present time

blowing out the candles. was a good day for Mila's birthday western springs then swimming then home to chill and then really yummy dinner and birthday cake. Mila told us she wasn't 4 till she had her birthday cake. she was so cute and defiantly the star of the day. I t was so cool that i got to spend her birthday with her as i have only been in aucks for her first birthday so that was really special.

Me and Danielle getting ready to go to fan zone

Nick and Dani getting rev ed up before the game

Nick jumped on Antons back

So many people/
We decided to head down to the fan zone in auck city just to say we had been there. i wasn't to fussed on the game but its a cool atmosphere. we went to the main part but didn't even attempt to go into the cloud. was cool being there. everyone stood for the national anthem and people went crazy when we got points on the board. The game could of gone either way in the beginning thank gosh for penalty points. We did learn that next time take something to sit on and a blanket cause it was way cold and we all got sore butts. But was really good to go down and check it out just to say that we had been.

On a very different note not even a month after i had finished chemo (in 2 days it's been 5 weeks since i finished) i got my period which means that my body is getting back to normal. and seen as there was a chance with chemo that i may not be able to have kids well I'm guessing getting my period is a good sign.

we used to run up and down this sand dune when we were kids every day

Mila checking out the cows at the farm

Mila at the skate park in Dargaville where we used to hang as teenagers

having a paddle at the beach
Was cool went up to Dargaville where i lived till i was 18 with my niece and auntie for the week caught up with lots of family and caught up with my really good mate Aids. stayed at the beach for 2 nights i could quite easily live at Bayleys beach it is my fave beach.
I like going home but i got a bit overloaded with people and family and questions. i got treated a bit like a 5yr old asking where i was going what i was doing if i was OK blah blah it was great when i hung out with Aids and Nana and Pop Posa i got treated like normal told if i wanted something to get it myself was great. i tried to walk every day i got a bit sore at the end of each day but feel so much better once i had had a walk. my hair has growing heaps will put a pic up in the next few days. i am now back in Auckland and its just stated raining typical the washing is ready to be hung out so ill just turn up the music and hang it out any way  Ema :)
